Doesn't coloured toilet paper clog septic systems? No, our toilet paper does not clog septic systems. Just like the leading brands of white toilet paper in the U.S, our bathroom tissue is made of 100% vegetal cellulose. It can be used as frequently as the white toilet paper you are currently using.
I have sensitive skin. Will the fragrances or dyes cause irritation? Our bath tissue has been tested under dermatological and gynaecological control and no adverse reactions of the skin were detected. The paper itself is not perfumed. The fragrance is added only to the tube. The colours are non-toxic and will not rub off or stain your skin. Dyes we are using comply with the standards of the German eco-label “Blue Angel” for hygiene paper (RAL-UZ 5). They do not contain compounds of mercury, lead, cadmium or chromium VI as constitutional components. The elements required to the production of our featured coloured toilet paper are all compliant with European Directive 2002/61/EC of 19th July 2002. The product does not contain any substances listed in the United Nations programme of POP’s or the Protection of the Ozone Layer as well as banned substances by the International Data System of the Automotive Industry per 2004. Dermatological tests performed on voluntary human subjects in an independent European laboratory allow for the use of the claim: “Tested under dermatological and gynaecological control”; no adverse reactions of the skin were detected. Bleaching: Our products comply with ISO 14001 by resource to pulp ECF (Elementary Chlorine Free) and TCF (Totally Chlorine Free). Migration: the tests performed in independent European laboratories under the standard EN 646 have not detected pigment migration. Biodegradability: as for any toilet paper made from cellulose (which is organic), the product is biodegradable
So why is coloured toilet paper so hard to find? While this may be true in the U.S, coloured bathroom tissue has been popular in Europe for decades. It is often more commonly seen than white.
